Life in Abundance

News Image

For many of us what we’re passionate about, what excites our souls, and gives us life, stands in contrast to the undertakings that fill most of our days. Things that, although they may be good, they distract and divert us from the lives that we are called to live.

For centuries the Church has seen Lent as a time for simplicity and stillness, a time of prayer and meditation, encouraging us to take a step back from the hectic pace of everyday life and focus upon the heart of living: loving the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, strength, and mind and loving our neighbors as ourselves. As a fruit tree is pruned, it can also be beneficial for us to trim away at non-essentials to enable us to live full and authentic lives of genuine depth and meaning in a relationship with God by whom and for whom we have been created. Let us be still and listen for God’s guidance so that our lives and our work may flourish and bear fruit in abundance.

In this newsletter we would like to share with you some of the stories from our ministries that warm our hearts and help us continue the race.

Thank you for your prayers. They are lifting us up. Our desire is to do the same for you! Let us know how we can pray for you.

Send us here your prayer request.
