Mounir Malaty

Mounir Malaty is the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cairo and the academic dean of the newly established Carey Seminary for Theological and Pastoral Formation. He mixes his love and passion for the church with his interest in researching the nature of Egyptian and Arab religiosity and developing relevant curricula and practical ministry tools. His graduate degrees in Education from ASU, Cairo, theological training at ETSC, Cairo, D. Min from NOBTS, Louisiana & Ph.D. from SWBTS in Texas have equipped him to tailor his teaching and preaching to address Christians, pastors and volunteers in the Egyptian and Middle Eastern context.
