Frequently Asked Questions

Who is LSESD?

Founded in 1998 with roots going back to 1955, LSESD (Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development) is a Lebanese faith-based organization with a holistic focus on inclusive education, relief & development, and equipping the Church. Read more about our story and how we work.

Who is MEBO?

MEBO exists to serve as the US fiscal sponsor and a bridge of support from global believers to the LSESD family of ministries serving the Middle East. MEBO is a registered 501c3 organization and a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Beginning in the 1950s, the vision and efforts of American missionaries led to the creation of Beirut Baptist School (BBS), the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS), and the Christian publishing house, Dar Manhal al-Hayat (DMAH). After transitioning from Western leadership to Lebanese leadership in the 1990s, this family of ministries has grown to six, under the umbrella of the Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development (LSESD).

MEBO and LSESD are interfaith organizations and welcome the partnership of all evangelical churches.

What is the purpose of the Multiply the Mission event?

We have two main goals. First, we’d like to share with you how God is multiplying the Church’s efforts to transform the Middle East through the lives of children. Second, we’d like to invite you to join in this effort by praying for and supporting the ministries of LSESD.

Are the events free?
