Elie Daher
IT Manager
Elie Daher joined LSESD in 2003 following the completion of his studies in Information Systems Management. As the IT Manager, he manages and administers the information system on the LSESD campus, alongside serving as the IT Consultant for the Beirut Baptist School.
He’s currently continuing his education as a master’s student in the field of network, systems and multimedia engineering.
He holds four Microsoft certificates: MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist), and he’s also an NSE (Network Security Expert) Certified by Fortinet.
He has a strong sense of responsibility and is super motivated by challenges. This led him to take on the responsibility of leading the LSESD facilities team starting October 2019.
He feels that LSESD is an exciting and meaningful place that gives him a sense of belonging. It is here where he found not just a job but rather a mission, giving him the opportunity to serve as a part of all LSESD’s ministries.
Outside of work, he likes spending quiet time out in nature gardening in his village, and he absolutely loves going for walks and hikes.
His favorite quote is: “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
