Ghinwa Akiki pursued her BA in Arts in Modern Languages and Translation at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK). Her early career in education began at Beirut Baptist School, where she gained rich experience working with students.
Driven by her love for children and a desire to enhance her educational expertise, Ghinwa pursued a teaching diploma from Middle East University. In addition to her career in education, Ghinwa worked in the field of mental health as an interpreter, collaborating with foreign psychologists and missionary doctors. Seeking to deepen her understanding and contribute meaningfully to trauma-informed care, she undertook specialized training with Texas Christian University in the US, becoming a TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) practitioner.
